The TECTAL magazine front catch enables the conversion of easily obtainable and affordable metric FN FAL magazines to inch pattern magazines used in L1A1 rifles (Self Loading Rifle). It is attached to the FN FAL magazine body and allows for proper positioning and retention thereby improving reliability and function of a FN FAL magazine in a L1A1 magazine well.
The installation requires work on the magazine body only - changes to the gun are not necessary!
